Forgeries of Ploughman notes - Watch Out!

Watch out for fake Ploughman banknotes.

Buyer Beware - Ploughman forgeries being offered online as genuine notes.

Two so-called 'replicas' of Ploughman notes have been offered online as genuine, seen 22.07.15. These fakes are being offered with at prices of genuine notes, €350 for the Pound, and €600 for the fiver—fortunately on the expensive side, so no one is likely to be caught on this occasion.

These are recently created forgeries made by printing out images downloaded from the web. They are not very good quality, and have been 'aged' by the forger. I came across the forger's website a while ago, can't seem to find it now though, will post a link when I find it again.

Not much we can do about this problem of forgery, except to be vigilant.

Below is an image of each of the forgeries on top, along with the image used to make the copy from. The actual notes have been recorded in PSS, thus pics are available.
