Survey of Lavery 1928 notes

As part of a survey I have been doing on rare notes (since 1997!), I will soon post a report on the following Lavery notes seen, giving the quantity recorded and grades of surviving notes.

10 Shilling notes, 10.9.28, 23.10.28

£10, 10.9.28

£20, 10.9.28

£50, 10.9.28

£100, 10.9.28

Comments welcome, and also reports of notes seen.

Here's a nice little group that turned up in a US auction a few years ago:

Lavery 1928 notes

Here are the other denominations.

The '1928 set' is made up of all seven notes, all of which bear the same date: 10.9.28, the only instance of a date which is on all the denominations. Most serious collections will aim to include the full set in their collections.
