I have come across several £10 for 26-9-74 online where the date is displaced (above where it should be).
I have checked "The Bible" = Irish Banknotes: Irish Government Paper Money from 1928 - Martan Mac Devitt 1999 (Martin)…
...and there is an example at the top of page 271.

SERIAL NUMBERS for 26.9.74: 15D 054995 to 20D 372406 more than 5,000,000 ?

QUESTION: Were ALL notes printed with the date in this position? :?:

Thanks,

I have just checked and there isn't an image for this Date/Denomination on the website.

Yes. All the 1974 £10 notes were printed with sans-serif dates in this position.

Well spotted there! Thanks. It got overlooked!
A serious omission, as the note is very common.
I'll have to fix that.

Position of date

Thanks Mac. Had a vague recollection that that was the case, but wasn't sure.

Missing Image

It may have been there once as it's not marked "MISSING" on the page listing ALL the dates, as per other missing images.
Don't beat yourself up :!:
