Consolidated Bank Notes (CBN) by Type.
Each signature variation denotes a Type. All notes are also signed by Brennan as Chairman of the Currency Commission.
44 collectible types, plus 4 types printed, never issued (bold italic, marked with asterisk*). All £20, £50, £100 notes were redeemed; Specimens of these denominations are available to collectors.

Rarest Ploughman notes by signature

Rarest Consolidated Bank Notes by Type.
The following are the four rarest signatures of the Ploughman notes, each with only a few examples recorded in the Ploughman Scan Survey.
Valuations are given in Euro, and are based on auction sales results data.

THE NORTHERN BANK LIMITED
Type 1E. S. W. Knox 1929
£1 - 6 notes recorded (others reported, not yet seen). Value €3,500 in Fine, €5,000 in VF.
£5 - 10 notes recorded (others reported, not yet seen). Value €5,000 in Fine, €7,000 in VF.
£10 - 6 notes recorded. This is the only date for the Northern Ten Pound note, and thus the rarest note by bank. This attracts a considerable premium in value. It is thus the most valuable note by far: €18,000 in Fine grade.

£5 - National Bank. Value €700 in Fine, €1,100 in VF.
£10 - Munster & Leinster Bank; National Bank. Value €1200 in Fine, €1,900 in VF.
