Would anyone know why the £10,£20,£50 and £100 didn’t have the £ sign before the denominations on the corners of the notes, but the 10/, £1 and £5 do have the £.
At first I assumed it was due to space, but the 10/ has the full denomination on it’s corners albeit scaled to fit within the design.
Random question, no doubt, but I do find it intriguing.

Re: Series A £ sign not on higher denominations
A quirk of the design I suppose!
The lower three denominations have the symbol, and the higher denominations leave it out.
