Major Ross's North Irish Volunteers ca. 1757-1759
Here is an interesting Belfast promissory note related to Major Ross’s North Irish Volunteers. It is a modern pull printed in 1972 from an old plate dating back to 1757-1759. These ‘pulls’ appear on the market from time to time and only 250 were printed. The denomination is in open format in the style of notes of the time.

An older style 'Scottish' square format, relatively unusual for Irish notes.

Yes, given the format, there could be a Scottish influence here.
