The goal of the Dates sections of irishpapermoney.com is to post a picture of every issued date for all Irish Government notes 1928–2001.

This thread will list the additions and update progress on the date listings section of Lavery notes on irishpapermoney.com

If anyone has a scan of any dates missing from the record in the above section, please do post a pic of it

19.01.15
£5 6.4.37 added.
This is one of the rarer dates, demonstrating that everything issued turns up sooner or later.
This leaves 6 dates to be recorded.

£10 17.9.55 added. Just filling a gap here.
This leaves 5 Ten Pound notes to record.

Two £50 notes added, 22.5.46; 9.6.43.
The scarcest denomination, it is seldom that a £50 note gets added. 1943 is a very rare year for the £50 notes.

Two £10 notes added, 25.1.55; 2.4.57.
Only 3 £10 notes left now!

Finally added £100 note 1965!

This was one that got away—One Hundred Pounds 1965—a relatively common date.
I'll be on the look out for a better pic, but for now it fills the gap.


Lavery One Hundred Pounds 1965

Added 7 notes to the £100 notes section, leaving just 5 to be pictures.
I had some of these in the 'to do' folder for a while. Today's addition was prompted by receiving a scan of a nice grade 25.6.43 £100 note—a sought-after year in any grade, and very tough in nice grade.

Added a missing £5 note, 24.5.48. One of the scarcer dates, it splits a prefix with the previous date.

Only 5 dates remaining to be recorded now.

Scans of the notes were kindly supplied by a site visitor who noted their absence from the gallery.

This is a very significant addition to the record of surviving notes, as the 1943 notes have been the rarest of Irish £50 note dates.

Just 6 Fifty Pound note dates now remain to be recorded, with a further 2 dates needing pictures.
