The title says it all, a booklet illustrating the entries for the Euro Banknote Design Competition back before the Euro was introduced.
I found it on the ECB web site when I was looking for something else!

Some nice design types there. I think the use of the same generic design for all countries in the Eurozone makes the currency less interesting. I have seen some recent ‘Souvenir’ designs which attempt to add some national identity to the euro notes (example attached). One of my nephews, recently bought such a souvenir note at the Dublin Coin Fair. He thought it hilarious that he paid 5 euro for a zero denomination note !

Hmm, I would think that a zero denomination note should cost zero Euro, plus perhaps a percentage of face value for conversion, which would make it zero, plus zero...!
I do like the map on the reverse though.
