Prize Bonds Prospectus

Post by Jenny007 »

Original prospectus from 1957 … I think every house in Ireland owns some prize bonds with the hope of winning big. I am one of the lucky ones and once won big with 25 euro !!

Wikipedia provides a good description of a Prize Bond and defines it as ‘a lottery bond, a non-interest bearing security issued on behalf of the Irish Minister for Finance’. Here are examples of early prize bonds from the original 1957 issue.
