A new section on the Irish Private Banks has been added to web site.

The private banks' section initially has 9 banks listed in it, with as broad a range of pictures of notes of each bank as is available. Banknotes and Post Bills are included.

More banks will be added over time, starting with those banks that already appear in this web board.
Information on the private banks will be expanded as further research is carried out on them.

Mac, really nice job on the Private Banks Section ! I am sure it will stimulate further interest and new research into this important era of Irish Banking.

Great to see this. Just been looking thru. I guess all the banks will be up there eventually.

Thanks to DOC for assistance on adding this section on the private banks.
There will eventually be a page added for each bank which is known to have issued banknotes and /or post bills.

Additionally, the background information on each bank and its notes will be added to as research progresses.
