USA 5 dollars enamel cuff links 1878

I came across this pair of 1878 antique metal and enamel bank note cuff links on the net recently. They expand the range of banknotes seen on enamel badges significantly. Considering that US notes exist on this type of jewellery, it is reasonable to consider that there may well be dozens of different banknotes reproduced on this type of product that we haven't yet seen.
The reverse marks and fastener are similar to those seen on badges depicting Irish and British banknotes of the same era.
