This rare £100 note issued in 1933 by The South African Reserve Bank features an old style sailing ship. The note is up for sale later this month at Noonans with an auction estimate of £12,000-£15,000.

A very attractive engraving of the sailing ship, which is on all denominations of the series.
This early £100 is one of the rarer notes in the series in nice grade too, in a similar league as the Irish 1928 £100 notes.
