It took a long time to find an example of a £10 Chestnutt replacement note but one recently appeared at auction at Stack’s Bowers (USA). This is only the second recorded example and very few appear to have survived.

A decent example there. The serial number probably continues from the earlier Guthrie signature. 006340 is not very many notes!
