Here is an issued example of the latest recorded date for an issued £3 note, 3 Dec 1915. The Shamrock borders are retained on the top and bottom of the note.

Only two Bank of Ireland £3 notes are recorded in private collections, R24 80114, in the first post of this thread; and R25 77896, pictured below, which was recorded in 1982.

That is an impressive lineup of very rare notes. How many examples of the 1915 National Bank £3 note are known?

Thanks for providing the paper on £3 notes which answers my question.
So only 1 issued National Bank £3 note, Type F (1915), has been observed to date. A 1915 specimen £3 note is also known.

As far as I remember, there are two or three of the Specimens of the Type F £3 note, all identical.

It's been sitting in a 'drawer' ready to upload for a few years.
I am finally getting round to making the Papers available online.
