I came across this Victorian enamel brooch by chance. The Bank of England £10 depicted with signature of F. May has a different date compared to the ones posted previously.

Interesting. This date in 1878 corresponds to the enamel brooch of the Bank of Ireland £1 notes which also depicts a note dated in 1878.
